Using a variety of exciting and unusual specimens from the Museum’s collection we will explore Darwin and Wallace’s revolutionary ideas. We will look closely at living things past and present to help us understand the dynamic on-going processes of adaptation and evolution.

At the Museum we have an amazing collection of rocks, minerals and fossils – including the Bristol diamond. Many of them were found just beneath us. Eager young geologists will be able to handle, study and compare a selection and find out what their properties tell us about how they were formed.
