Glo-Ed (Global Educational Travel Ltd)

Glo-Ed was created in 2017 by senior management from the educational travel industries & senior teachers from school, who shared a passion for education beyond the classroom, personal service and social responsibility.

In our first summer we have welcomed students to and from 6 different countries on trips from conservation, community & global citizenship In Africa & America's, to language & cultural tours in Europe, to geography in Nepal & Iceland.

Being a new company, Glo-Ed is committed to making teacher's lives easier when it comes to travel planning, with automated admin, saving stacks of time on both ends, and reducing input errors. We have integrated more technology than most of our competitors, to enable us to stay ahead of the game when it comes to student safety, travel planning or collecting paperwork online.

We are a socially responsible company, supporting local, national & international causes, as well as offering selected bursaries for less financially fortunate students.

We can offer fully tried and tested itineraries, part itineraries to fit with your plans, or completely bespoke solutions. We understand that there are multiple stakeholders in running a successful trip, including SLT, other teachers, students and parents. ABTA membership & ATOL licensing tick most SLT boxes, along with all the usual insurances. Automated admin and flexible working hours (outside 9am-5pm) tick a lot of our customer teacher's boxes, with forms designed to be 'evolve-friendly'. We search out the best value programmes worldwide, ticking many parent's boxes (and wallets!). And not forgetting the students - we ensure that all programmes have the right balance of educational benefit, personal development opportunities and FUN!
