Stratford Armouries

Stratford Armouries is a truly unique museum set in 75 acres of rolling Warwickshire countryside.

The galleries house a range of world-class exhibits that will amaze the whole family.

* Home to the National Collection of Model Soldiers
* The home of the Wellington Aviation Museum
* Massive Wellington Bomber tail section
* A huge German Heinkel 111 crash relic
* 20th Century Gallery with Military and Aviation Exhibits
* World's Largest Trebuchet Arm
* Leonardo da Vinci’s giant crossbow
* Collection of Indian and Persian Talwars
* Beautiful artefacts from Shakespeare’s birthplace
* Multitude of Cannon, Armour and Artillery

We are delighted to announce that the Stratford Armouries Museum is home to exhibits from the Wellington Aviation Museum, formerly housed at Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. The fascinating exhibits range from an entire Wellington Bomber tail piece - one of only two in existence as well as a large collection of aircraft parts, engines, military uniform and weaponry. What a better place to house this unique collection than on the site of the WW2 station RAF Snitterfield.
