This award winning museum is situated right in the heart of the historic town of Stratford upon Avon within a Grade 2* listed historic building.
Discover the history of this historic building and the Tudor World it occupied. Visitors will experience the horrible world of The Tudors, in an educational, accessible and atmospheric way. Various aspects of Tudor life, from Elizabeth I to the plague, are shown through reconstructed sets and multi sensory equipment. The real life home of Shakespeare's comic character John Falstaff, Terry Deary dedicated The Horrible History of Stratford upon Avon to the building.
Our growing calendar of special events means that visitors can come again and again to see the wonderful museum and Stratford upon Avon in a variety of guises throughout the year!
School Visits
Include the following:

A full day (10am until approximately 3pm)

The first half of the day is on (the historic) site and consists of three workshops. Each workshop is approximately 30 minutes duration*

The second half of the day consists of a tour of the historic town of

Stratford upon Avon with William Shakespeare—in person! The tour is around 90 minutes in duration.

Tours
We run several tours around Shakespeare’s home town
No Hold’s Bard: A town tour with William Shakespeare in person (90 mins, walking)
Bard on a Bus: William Shakespeare can join you on your bus! (90 mins)
Less intimate and ‘up close and personal’ but ideal for time conscious tour buses and those with reduced mobility.
Shakespeare Supper
On the lines of a Burns Night, but with Shakespeare hosting his own dinner party. You provide the hotel or restaurant (or let us know your budget and we can arrange) and we will do the rest.
Haunted Pub Tour (walking tour)
A light hearted and full evening character-led ghost tour with Dashing Jack ( 3 hours)
