The Great North Museum: Hancock
The Great North Museum: Hancock
The Great North Museum: Hancock will take you on an exciting journey through the story of our planet and its people. The new Museum is bursting with displays, interactives and a planetarium.
New displays include Hadrian’s Wall, Ancient Egyptians and Ancient Greeks. A 'Bio-Wall' features hundreds of animals from across the world and in Fossil Stories; children can come face to face with a life-size T-rex skeleton. The region’s wildlife can be explored in Natural Northumbria and younger children can have fun in the Mouse House.
Explore! is the place to be if you want to learn more about the Museum’s collections, while World Cultures and Ice Age to Iron Age complete this amazing attraction.
