Ayscoughfee Hall Museum

Ayscoughfee Hall Museum

Ayscoughfee Hall Museum is set in a Medieval Hall dating back to around 1451. This fascinating grade I listed building includes exhibitions, displays and educational opportunities for all to enjoy.

There's always something going on at Ayscoughfee, whether it's concerts, theatrical performances, craft sessions or art exhibitions.

Like every museum, Ayscoughfee Hall has a collection of objects that have been given by local people. Ayscoughfee Hall Museum's collection contains several thousand objects, from a mummified cat to a Victorian wedding dress.

The Museum's collection includes lots of photographs, documents, books, costume and clothes, as well as agricultural equipment and other local social history. If you're looking for something in particular and can't find it on this website, please email us at and we'll try to help.

Entry to the Museum and Gardens is FREE.
