All Things Wild Nature Centre

All Things Wild Nature Centre

All Things Wild Nature Centre at The Domestic Fowl Trust is set in the beautiful Vale of Evesham in the Worcestershire countryside, and is the perfect place for you to relax, learn and enjoy yourself.

It caters for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest and everyone in between! Not only does it have a large array of animals ranging from stunning peacocks through llamas, day-old chicks and weasels to exotic green iguanas, but it also has all the facilities you would need and expect.

All Things Wild run weekend and holiday itineraries where children have the chance to handle a range of animals, go pond dipping, bug hunting, egg collecting and also try the unique sport of Guinea-pig fishing!

All Things Wild can also provide the perfect party for your child, including a party host, games and activities and a buffet lunch. We also have a fabulous new indoor playground.

The Speckled Hen Cafe here at All Things Wild serves delicious lunches, tasty cakes, traditional and speciality teas, real coffee and soft drinks, meaning you can refuel then continue to explore our animals, race on the pedal go-karts and follow some of our trails around the park.

Don't forget to visit our Step Through Time Dinosaur Experience to explore a lost time. You can find 13 life-size dinosaurs hidden amongst the trees and grass, so keep your eyes peeled!

Educational Visits

Here at All Things Wild we have a fantastic natural environment that lends itself to education simply by being here. However, nature sometimes needs a helping hand and that's exactly what we have done. We have created a safe, fun and most of all educational surrounding in which children can explore and learn through play, allowing their individual creativeness to shine through.

We have already set up some day packages that may appeal to you and hopefully link with your areas of learning. (We have linked them to the curriculum too!)

Our sessions are created, planned and run by a qualified teacher whose experience lies in learning through play and exploration.

Take a quick look at a few of the pre-made packages we can offer.

Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs existed millions of years ago but unfortunately they aren't roaming our Earth anymore. Or are they? Come and explore our fantastic surroundings and you may find more than you bargained for. With giant dinosaurs statues situated around the park and activities ranging from digging for dinosaur bones to creating your own fossils we have a great dinosaur package to excite any age.

Minibeasts

Step into our indoor minibeast area where you will find plenty of bugs. We have insects such as cockroaches and stick insects. If you are brave enough, why not have a go at holding one? Then search through our outdoor minibeast patch to see which critters are hiding there. Other activities on our minibeast day include a bug number hunt and bug crafts.

Habitats

We have some great animals on site which the children can experience up close. During our habitats day we will challenge all to create habitats that they think are best for our animals on a large scale, allowing the children to work as a team to problem solve as well as question what they are doing.

Problem- solving

Ever tried to encourage your children to think 'outside the box'? Well here at All Things Wild we have the space, the facilities and the enthusiasm to do this. Our problem solving activities vary depending on age but you can guarantee a brain-teasing, mind- boggling time will be had by all.

Animals

'Animals' is a large topic to cover in one day, but we have taken the best parts of some of our other days and combined them to make one fantastic day.

If you like the look of any of these packages we can send you our individual day pack which provides more detailed information about the day you are interested in.

If you fancy just coming for the day and safely exploring the many play and education areas we have to offer, we can do this too!

If there is a topic you would like to come and explore with us that is not already on the above list, just let us know and we can create a custom day for you.

Please feel free to contact us for any more information or to arrange your fun filled day.
