The Forest Centre is the headquarters of the Conservators of Ashdown Forest who are responsible for the management the Forest. It is the best starting point for finding out about the Forest, what you can see, and where you can go.

Education

Exciting days for KS1 and KS2 pupils exploring the stunning mosaic of habitats of the Ashdown Forest. Bespoke sessions led by experienced staff with fun, hands-on activities linking to the curriculum.

Our day long sessions range from Habitats and Adaptations to Stone Age and Winnie the Pooh.

About Ashdown Forest

Ashdown Forest is an ancient area of tranquil open heathland occupying the highest sandy ridge-top of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is situated some 30 miles (48 km) south of London in the county of East Sussex.
