Audley End House & Gardens
Experience a real life period drama as you explore life above and below stairs.
Explore the impressive mansion house and uncover the story behind the Braybrooke’s unique natural history collection.
Great houses need an army of staff to keep everything running smoothly, and you can meet Audley’s in the Victorian Service Wing and nursery. See them at work every weekend from May to September.
Say hello to our resident horses in the stable block. Visit the Organic Kitchen Garden where you'll discover over 120 varieties of apples, 40 types of pears, 60 kinds of tomatoes plus many more fruits and vegetables.
With parterre gardens, ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland, a children’s play area, café and shop, make it a day out for all the family at Audley End House and Gardens.
For schools
Go behind previously closed doors and see how Victorian children played and grew up in the newly opened nursery. Visit the Coal Gallery, once a hive of activity, as we recreate the hustle and bustle of servants' daily routines.
