Banbury Museum
Banbury Museum is a great museum full of local interest with a range of activities for kids of all ages.
There are prize trails for all ages, plus Drawing for All, activity backpacks for 3 to 5 year olds and Craft Activities through the ArtCart.
The different trails available include a Toy Trail where you look for all the toys hidden in the museum and a Codebreaker Trail for older kids and adults, where you crack codes to find your way around the galleries.
There is also an Art Alert Trail for all ages and The Banbury Doom trail, which may not be.
The Small Talk activity backpacks are based on different themes such as transport, armour or even the nursery rhyme ‘Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross’ and help little ones to explore the musem. The ArtCart is free and gives kids the chance to draw some of the things that they see.
