Bowles

Bowles

Bowles is located near Tunbridge Wells on the site of a natural south facing sandstone outcrop which offers a range of outdoor adventure including superb rock climbing, a dry ski slope, orienteering, archery and the giant Leap of Faith!

As our slogan - Achievement Through Experience - suggests, we specialise in developing young people of all ages and abilities, building confidence and daring, coupled with belief in their own abilities through engaging them in challenging and stimulating activities.

Bowles was established as a charity for young people in 1964. In 2014 we are celebrating our 50th Anniversary. You can even stay overnight for added adventure!

What a fantastic venue this is. Great range of activities, all based outdoors. fabulous staff who encourage children who have often never attempted to climb a rock face or ski into taking their first brave steps, but then fly as they realise they can do it!
The area the activities are in is very compact meaning you can move between them very quickly and easily and the tuck at lunchtime was just what the doctor ordered! Highly recommend.
