Cannock Chase Horse Trekking

Off road pony trekking and horse riding through the beautiful Cannock Chase forest. No riding experience needed, as there are a range of horses and treks to suit everyone. Available for kids aged 4 and older.

Cannock Chase Horse Trekking offers a great way for kids to spend time outside, soaking up wonderful views, while riding on one of the wonderful ponies or horses at this centre.

It doesn’t matter if the kids haven’t ridden before, as they cater for all abilities, with friendly professional instructors to show them how to take hold of the reins.

More experienced riders will have chances to break off with one of the guides for a faster paced ride before rejoining the group.

There are a number of riding experiences to choose from, such as half hour Paddock rides for kids aged between 4 and 7 years old, after school Children’s Treks, and a 1 hour Introductory Trek that is great for beginners and kids.

They also offer Mixed Ability Treks, plus 2 hour and all day treks for those with more experience. A Birthday party package is also available. We recommend that you aim to book at least a month in advance for this.
