Learning is why Dundee Science Centre exists. Learning enriches lives: it gives challenge, enjoyment, and new experiences, and widens opportunity.  It helps us become responsible citizens and fulfilled individuals.

Our range of programmes support learning from birth to adulthood, with specific support for Curriculum for Excellence.

  • Forces, electricity and waves
  • Biological systems: Body systems and cells, inheritance
  • Materials: Properties and uses of substances, Earth's materials
  • Inquiry and investigative skills

  • Technologies
  • Learning in STEM

Your time at Dundee Science Centre will include the opportunity to explore our hands-on science exhibitions, and a choice of workshop or session which can be used to support your planned learning and teaching within curriculum for excellence. This costs from as little as £3.50 per person, and you can bring one adult free for every eight children or young people (or one adult free for every two children in early years or early level groups).

All of our sessions support experiences and outcomes, and development of the attributes and capabilities of confident individuals, effective contributors, responsible citizens and successful learners.
