Finkley Down Farm Park

Finkley Down Farm is a fun-filled family experience for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Visitors can enjoy an exciting educational day out, with hands on activities with our animals. We have an abundance of different animals from large and small, to fluffy, feathery and even scaly!

Come and learn about the habitats, food chains and life-cycles of our animals. Experience farm life and discover what our animals are used for and where your food comes from. You are guaranteed to uncover some interesting facts about animals and farming during your visit! We still have some old farm machinery dotted around the farm.

School groups can experience an educational and fun farm visit. Visits can be tailored to specific topics as part of your Curriculum learning. For example, we often provide specific Guided Tours for School Groups wishing to learn about 'teeth and eating' and 'carnivores, omnivores and herbivores'. But school visits can be more generalised with learning about where animals live, what they eat and drink and what they are used for.

Our new attraction 'Reptile Encounters' opened in October, here we have some more unusual creatures on display from Pythons to Chameleons and Frogs. So it is now possible to have guided tours and even handling sessions with these fascinating exotic species!

All weather activities provided and free use of all facilities including the Indoor Playbarn and Outdoor Play Areas.
