Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom

Shropshire based petting farm and zoo with over 150 different species of animal. Indoor and outdoor demonstrations take place daily including lamb feeding, sheep racing; meet the meerkats and egg collecting. The farm also has an indoor and outdoor play area, cafe and gift shop.

Lemurs and Porcupine along with many new undercover demonstrations to take part in whilst at the farm. The Farmyard Theatre Barn will feature a brand new programme of events including a seasonal Animal Show, meet the reptiles, lamb feeding and much more. The farmyard barn enables all visitors the chance to experience the fun of the farm when the weather is unpredictable.

Areas to be found on the farm trail are "Bizarre British Wildlife" which includes the addition of Otters along with foxes, owls and Coatis. "The African Zone" features some of the old favourites such as the Giant Tortoises and Meerkats.

Other areas include the "Wallaby Woods" with a walk through the wallaby enclosure (opening May 2013) and the addition of Llama Walking from early summer where visitors can do exactly that. The Furry Tail forest is also a new area for Hoo Farm and visitors can take part in the New Egg Experience in a brand new undercover building followed by a visit to the 3 little pigs and the Hoollee Highstreet.

The farm is best known for the famous sheep steeplechase: a 'ewenique' and highly entertaining must for anyone visiting the area. 

Hoo Farm also has both indoor and outdoor play areas including an under 5s area with a ball pool and soft play whilst the over 5s can indulge in the pool table, air hockey and table football. The farm also has a large picnic area, Tearoom, Snack Shop and Gift Shop.
