Jersey Archives
Jersey Archive was established as part of Jersey Heritage in 1993. The Archive is the Island’s national repository holding archival material from public institutions as well as private businesses and individuals.

Since 1993 Jersey Archive has collected over 300,000 archival records from the States of Jersey, States Committees and Departments, the Royal Court, H.E. Lieutenant-Governor, Parishes, Churches, Businesses, Societies and individuals relating to the Island. These records are now stored in our environmentally monitored strongrooms at the Jersey Archive.
ersey Archive aims to meet the highest standards of archival care and access. In 2014 we were awarded accredited status by The National Archive under the UK Archive Service Accreditation Standard.
Jersey Archive also holds the collections of the Channel Islands Family History Society (link is external).

Jersey Archive carries out enquiries received by post, telephone or e-mail. Staff at the Archive will carry out brief enquiries and initial research for no charge. Work on more detailed enquiries will be charged at £20 per hour with a maximum of 5 hours research at any one time.
