The Jungle Zoo

Centres around a Tropical House in a spectacular jungle-like setting which includes a large water feature containing Red-Eared and other Terrapins. The outside exhibits include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and more plus plenty of bird exhibits.

Take a walk around the water feature and see Caiman alligators, large lizards, marmosets, parrots and toucans amongst others. The Reptile House is home to snakes and spiders including yellow anaconda, boa constrictor and the gigantic Burmese pythons.

We also offer daily scheduled Keeper talks, feeding sessions and demonstrations.

School Trips

School trips allow us to reach the next generation of conservation minded youngsters. We find that children are motivated to learn when their imagination is stimulated and their curiosity is aroused through interaction with the subject.

With our blend of interactive, hands-on experience, they're having so much fun that work becomes play. Your school trip will be tailored to the age group and curriculum requirements of your group.

Half an hour talk with hands-on encounters with animals.

• Conservation
• Rainforest

The animals we use for handling include Snakes, Lizards, Mini-Beasts, Owls and Frogs. Different talks involve different animals.
