Lepe Country Park
Lepe Country Park
Lepe Country Park has a wonderful mix of habitats for you to explore; discover what lives along the shore, bird watch over the Solent, North Solent National Nature Reserve and Dark Water Estuary, spot a variety of insects attracted to our wildflower meadows or stroll along the cliff top lined with Monterey and Corsican Pines.
Have a wander through the secluded wild flower meadows, a feast for the senses throughout the year. Listen to the spring bird song, watch the butterflies feeding on the flowers in summer, look out for fungi in the woodland, see the birds feeding on autumn berries and in winter find out about the traditional practice of hedge laying.
Walk along the beautiful sea shore, enjoy wildlife, watersports, sea angling or bird watching.
But also learn about this beautiful park's connection to D-Day, the historic invasion of France by Allied Forces during Operation Overlord.
