Mr Karting
Mr Karting
Mr Karting was established in the 1990s and has been under a new management team since 2001, and is fast becoming the Midlands' market leader in indoor karting having just been voted Coventry and Warwickshire's favourite kart track for the third year running.
Along with the latest equipment and computerised timing system, their fully trained team of friendly and enthusiastic staff will ensure a safe and enjoyable time for all.
Driver safety is of paramount importance.
Prior to every race meeting all drivers are fitted with race suits, gloves and crash helmets. Clean balaclavas are also supplied for your personal hygiene free of charge. All race sessions start with a National Karting Association safety briefing, followed by practice laps for all drivers to familiarise themselves with the karts and the track layout.
Youth Groups and Schools
Every youth leader and School Teacher we speak to tells us the same thing… they want their reward activities to be easy to organise, safe to take part in, hassle-free and good value.
With this in mind, you can book a ‘Youth Group/School Karting Experience’ with one quick phone call to 01926 833444. These fun, indoor sessions are designed to fit around your timetable – morning, lunchtime, afternoon or evening – and there’s no upper limit to the number of drivers that can take part.
What’s more, we guarantee that the time you spend with us will be safe and enjoyable – our professional track team will manage everything from the minute you check in at reception, leaving you free to relax in our comfortable viewing area.
British Schools Karting Championship
The British Schools Karting Championship (BSKC) is an arrive-and-drive UK-wide team-based karting championship for school and college students aged 13 to 18 (minimum height 5ft 2ins).
It is a large knockout tournament open to students of all abilities and backgrounds.
All karts, race suits and safety helmets are provided by each qualifying track – you do not need a kart to compete!
The BSKC has grown quickly. In 2011, it was contested by 450 teams (1350 drivers) from over 175 schools from all over the UK. In 2012 we have added new circuits so that we can reach more schools and colleges.
For full details of the Championship, and how to register for the championship please visit the British Schools Karting Championship (BSKC) website.
