National Badminton Museum
National Badminton Museum
The game of badminton is celebrated at the National Badminton Museum. The museum is housed at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes.
Visitors can view early shuttlecocks, racquets and old rule books, according to the centre's website. The National Badminton Museum is run by volunteers, and is only regularly manned on Tuesdays mornings between 9.30 and 12.30. If you wish to make a visit, please contact the museum – see contacts, and it may be possible to arrange for one of the museum volunteers to be present. There is a Friends of the Museum organisation for people who want to support its work.
Visitors are welcome to look round the museum unescorted at any time the National Badminton Centre is open – normally 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and at weekends from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
You may find it useful to download the Guide to the Museum and bring this with you.
