Sewerby Hall Museum
Sewerby Hall Museum
Sewerby Hall is a Grade I listed Georgian country house with Regency and Victorian additions set in 50 acres of picturesque park. The Hall contains an important collection of Amy Johnson memorabilia and galleries in which a temporary exhibition programme is displayed. Sewerby Hall reopened in August 2014 after a £2.6 million restoration programme which has recreated the look and feel of the whole house as it would have been in the Edwardian era.
Events
Sewerby Hall and Gardens hosts numerous activities and events throughout the entire year aimed at visitors of all ages and interests.
Sporting activities, educational nature trails, musical concerts and our interactive Welcome Centre mean that whatever your age, ability or interests, there is something for everyone.

Our estate is perfect for school parties with its woodland walks and various nature activities, both of which help children learn about our country's stunning wildlife.
Our group booking organiser is always happy to discuss the various options available to schools and can provide a comprehensive educational visit risk assessment.
