Sheffield Cathedral

Sheffield Cathedral

The Sheffield Cathedral Heritage Learning Department offers school educational visits on curriculum areas such as R.E., History, English and Art for all key stages.

Our living history workshops, designed in line with the 2014 National Curriculum, allow children to experience what life was like in Sheffield at various stages of the city’s history, such as Anglo-Saxon, Tudor, Victorian and WW1, through costume, artefacts, drama and hands-on activities.

It is also possible to arrange self-guided visits for school groups, but these must be pre-booked to avoid clashes with other booked workshops, tours recitals and daily services.
