Walrus Cruise

Walrus Cruise

The Walrus Cruise is a Christian voluntary organisation which provides sailing holidays for boys and girls from the ages of 13 to 18.  It also provides further development for people aged 18 to 21.  It started in 1924 and today operates on the inland waterways of the Norfolk Broads and the coastal waters of the Western Isles of Scotland.

The aim of the Walrus Cruise is to help young peope explore and grow in the Christian faith.  For some it may be the first time that they have heard the Christian message with a chance to ask any question.  For others, the Walrus Cruise can help to deepen an already established faith.  The Walrus Cruise achieves this by bringing people together as a team to sail, holding open and honest conversations and studying the bible.  This combination has helped many people over the years to think things through and grow their faith in Jesus Christ.
