What you can expect from a school excursion to WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo:

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo lets you experience the animals and ecosystems of a range of Australian habitats, allowing your class to identify the different requirements of Australian flora and fauna.

Meet Rex, one of the world's largest Saltwater Crocodiles in Kakadu Gorge, see kangaroos and wallabies in Kangaroo Walk-About and meet the Tasmanian Devils in Devil's Den. Teach your class about the importance of keystone species with the Cassowary in the Daintree Rainforest, and experience the incredible world of mini-beasts in the Bugs Garden. WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo has a huge range of Australian animals including reptiles, invertebrates, mammals, amphibians, and even a couple of fish.

Conservation

Conservation is important here at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, and a partnership has been formed with the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, focusing on providing information, support and protection for some key endangered Australian species.

Take your class to the informative keeper talks throughout the day, book an education officer for a guided tour or book into our NEW Interactive Encounter Show - an interactive animal show where the children will both learn and be entertained.

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is air-conditioned and under-cover making it a suitable excursion regardless of weather. It is located at Darling Harbour, with convenient bus parking outside.
