Discovery Centres are modern, welcoming and friendly with a modern library service at the heart ... with books, information, music, DVDs and talking books for all ages and tastes.

There are rooms for community groups and well equipped learning suites. Free internet allows access to the most up to date information. There are areas for children and young people to read, study or just browse and a coffee bar with comfortable seats is a good place to relax or meet friends.

At Winchester Discovery Centre we have a renowned art gallery, exhibition space and of course a library with over 1.5 million items available.

We host and coordinate the WInchester Poetry Festival, with live poetry, workshops and discussions.
