Wizard's Thatch

An enchanting and magical world that is based on the Chronicles of Wizard’s Thatch. Home to a School of Magic, an alley full of magical shops, plus a number of other exciting streets and alleys to explore.

There is a beautiful open air swimming pool, which is solar heated and open daily between May and September, an Enchanted Manor with a secret passage to the Golden Broomstick Tavern, which is said to be haunted by a ghost!

The town boasts over 200 listed buildings, plus the ruin of an old Abbey, which is rumoured to be cursed! Be sure to check out the Ministry of Time while you are there and introduce the kids to the concept of time travel. The Wizard Railway is definitely worth a look too. There is also a treasure hunt, which encourages the kids to explore and research so that they can solve the clues.

Other highlights include Wizard’s Thatch Academy and School of Magic, Castle Lane, and the Market Square. A magical place for a fantastic family day out.
