Our hugely popular Junior Farm has many daily activities – feeding the rabbits, grooming the ponies, bottle feeding the spring lambs and collecting your own eggs from our henhouses. We have a School Room for school groups and Birthday parties.

Schools

Wroxham Barns Junior Farm is a member of the Countryside Education Visits Accreditation Scheme and its wide range of countryside and fun activities makes it a great place for children to visit.

We are recognised as suitable for pre-school to Key Stages 1 and 2, although enjoyable for all ages, and the activities and talks at our Junior Farm are useful for working towards attainment targets within the National Curriculum and can help with school project work.

The daily timetable of activities, from 3rd November 2014 is as follows

10.00am Junior Farm opens
10.30 am It’s breakfast time for our guinea pigs and rabbits…come and help us
11.00am Our very greedy and very naughty Pygmy Goats need their food.
11.30am Come and cuddle our guinea pigs
1.00pm See our pigs being fed and learn all about them
1.30pm Help us to groom our friendly ponies (weather permitting)
2.30pm It’s cuddle time…get close to our fluffy guinea pigs
3.00pm It’s Munchtime for the little ones…the guinea pigs need feeding
3.30pm Piggys Play-Sty closes
4.00pm Time to say goodbye to all your friends on Junior Farm
4.00pm Junior Farm Closes
