Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Yorkshire Sculpture Park

In a healthy environment, YSP's learning programme uses art and landscape to build young people's intellectual knowledge, skills and aspirations.

Our learning programme reaches 45,000 people every year.

Workshops

YSP offers unique workshops and tours aimed at providing an enhanced focus and stimulus for visiting pupils and students.

All workshops are led by experienced artists-in-education, providing a general introduction to sculpture or tailored to meet your specific interests.

Make large-scale sculpture in our open-air workshop. Led by artists-in-education, workshop days are individually tailored to themes and topics relating to your group's interests. They can also support the National Curriculum. Suitable for all ages and abilities, from pre-school to postgraduate students, for community, special needs and professional groups.

The day comprises two sessions. In the morning a guided tour explores works on display at YSP, providing stimulus for the afternoon practical session which involves the use of a wide range of sculptural materials, processes and techniques.
