Indie Outdoors aims to provide a 'real' outdoor experience for young people and adults using experienced and well qualified staff. We believe that outdoor activities can be a transformative and empowering experience at all ages but that this is best achieved through a mutual respect and understanding between instructor and participant.

When we travel we like to explore, turn left when everyone else turns right and eat local not 'Mc Local'! At Kaizen we retain the spirit of adventure and organise adventures for you that we have loved!

All of our instructors are highly experienced and qualified individuals, maintaining the highest levels of safety. They will bring out the best in everyone, whilst providing a challenging and fun experience. Our staff are also experienced in all areas of group management, first aid and rescue in all environments.

Burton Art Gallery & Museum situated in Victoria Park, Bideford, was reopened in May 1994, after a major extension and refurbishment. The new building has three exhibition spaces including a permanent pottery exhibition, a museum, craft gallery, shop, workshop and lecture area, tourist information desk and cafe.

Permanent collection of oil and watercolour paintings, North Devon slipware, porcelain, pewter and Napoleonic bone model ships. Local artefacts include items from local industry and a model of Bideford's long bridge
