English Heritage stepped in to rescue J. W. Evans Silver Factory in 2008. With the completion of the repairs programme, the site opened to the public in summer 2011.

Established in 1881, J. W. Evans is one of the most complete surviving historic factories in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. To walk into the factory today is to enter a lost industrial world.

Climbing is a refreshing change to your conventional, mainstream school sports. The adrenaline rush piques the children's interest and with the benefits of raising self esteem, building confidence and developing both team work and social skills it's the perfect activity for groups of young people to get involved in.

Our two climbing walls offer different challenges. You can scale 11.5 metres or 9.5 metres. The two walls have many routes with many difficulty levels.

The Raymond Priestley Centre is beautifully located on the western shore of Coniston Water. Operated by the University of Birmingham it provides bespoke residential courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students. In addition to its core business of teaching groups from the University of Birmingham, the Centre has well established programmes with other universities, schools and business groups.

Creation Indoor Climbing Centre boasts a variety of excellently equipped options and loads of ways to enjoy them, applying to all levels and ages!

The facilities include 100 lines of top ropes and lead climbing as well as a 6,000sq ft bouldering area, with everything ranging from simple routes to fiendish features like slabs and overhangs.
