A large and imposing Scillonian Bronze Age entrance grave, with kerb, inner passage and burial chamber all clearly visible.

This is one of the largest and best preserved of the distinctive burial chambers known as entrance graves.

Dating from about 2000 BC, Porth Hellick is the largest entrance grave in a scattered cemetery that includes six others, and two low cairns.

This spectacular stretch of coastline offers fine views and hidden delights. Heading north from Polzeath discover Pentire Point and The Rumps, views of which inspired First World War poet Lawrence Binyon.

Mining for lead once provided local communities with employment but now the long deserted mine shafts are home to the greater horseshoe bat. It's possible to catch a glimpse of them as they emerge from their roosts deep below the cliffs.

This country retreat, only four miles from Dorking and junction 9 of the M25, has glorious views across the rolling Surrey Hills and acres of countryside.  It was home to famous Edwardian hostess Mrs Greville, who entertained royalty and the celebrities of her time.

There’s a skate park too, welcoming BMXers, boarders, skaters and scooters of all ages so long as they’re safely padded up! Like the playground and the paddling pool this is free!

Tate St Ives is an art gallery in St Ives, Cornwall, England, exhibiting work by modern British artists in the beautiful surroundings of the rugged Cornish coast.

School visits to Tate St Ives and nearby Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden are free for students under 18 and for teachers from Cornwall in formal education groups when they pre-book a visit.
