Last Year's Competition

After Bradley Barton Primary School took first prize in 2014 with its Wizard of Oz inspired garden, the challenge is on to create something special in 2015 as part of the celebration surrounding Stewart Group Holdings 70thAnniversary as a UK manufacturer of gardening products. Based on the popular musical, Barton Primary School’s winning creation featured scarecrows, floral rainbows and woodland made of peas. The pupils also created a wormery to break down old leaves for garden compost.

The Stewart Garden Schools campaign challenges schools to be creative with Stewart Garden products. Every entrant in this year’s campaign studied growing seeds and explored the differences between electric and non-electric propagators.
