Education Activities
The farm provides a wide-ranging educational programme in its fully equipped classroom. Over 200 school groups participate each year in tours and one of the workshops the farm offers. These include--to name a few--wool, bread making, cooking, gardening, composting. arts and crafts, spinning & weaving. Other educational activities can be discussed with the education coordinator.
Educational Courses
The farm's educational courses are accredited by the Open College Network London Region. The courses include carpentry, cooking, animal care, horticulture, beekeeping and health and safety on the farm. Completion of the program gives the young person a nationally recognized qualification raising achievement and acting as an inspiration to continue learning.
Volunteers on the farm are encouraged to register for the courses and obtain a nationally recognised qualification. If you are not a registered volunteer, you can still do our courses at £500 per course. Each course is approximately, however students can take longer to complete the course.
