The North of London has many exciting attractions. Home to the world darts championship, an ice skating rink and site of the first ever television broadcast, Alexandra Palace dominates the area. Socio-politics of every kind is available to school trip planners here. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur football clubs vie for local and global affections amongst football fans, while Highgate cemetery is the last resting place of left-wing revolutionary thinker Karl Marx, author of Das Kapital.
