HORRIBLE HISTORY AT DUDLEY CASTLE
Horrible History sessions delivered by a costumed guide take place in the Undercroft of the 11th century Dudley Castle at the heart of the zoological gardens. They give youngsters a potted history during the periods when our castle was used as a residence.
Our range of workshops and guided tours include; crime and punishment, a history of the castle's animals and ghost walks.
Activities may include meeting animals from DZG’s small tame collection, including creepy crawlies and rodents which were part of 16th century life, exploring food and drink and arms and armour from that period.
