As well as two working farm visitor centres (Sandwell Park Farm and Forge Mill Farm) there are nature areas, an aerial assault course (managed separately), an adventure playground, an RSPB Visitor Centre, woodland, meadows, farmland. Leisure facilities include an adventure centre with cycle hire, access routes for walking, cycling and horse riding, pitch and putt, crazy golf, tennis courts, football pitches.There is ample parking at all of the facilities, most of which have toilets.
Historic features range from Priory Ruins, the Sand Well, a Ha-Ha, an Ice House, Burnt Mounds and remnants of coal mining. Sandwell Park Farm is a restored Victorian farm with an historic farmyard and a Walled Kitchen Garden, Tea Rooms and gift shops.
It is home to rare and endangered breeds such as Hereford cattle and Tamworth pigs. Forge Mill Farm includes a farm shop, small animal area, a farm trail, children's playground and vending area. The farm is home to a pedigree jersey herd, and visitors can watch milking every afternoon from a viewing gallery.
The Country Park provides a programme of events including guided walks, conservation volunteering, weekly health walks and large scale shows. The RSPB Nature Centre provides a further gateway to the Country Park, with a visitor centre, a bird hide and car parking.
