Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park

Conservation through education

Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park set in 27 acres of mixed woodland, is the wild animal conservation centre of southern Scotland.

A varied collection of nearly 150 animals from all over the world can be seen within the peaceful and natural settings where the woodland has been tailored to provide large and imaginative enclosures.

Schools & Groups

It gives you an insight into the part the Wildlife Conservation Park plays in helping to protect the world’s natural heritage. In the Park you will find information about our park and areas that you give animal information on the wildlife we care for.

Specially organised ‘Animal Encounters’ are run daily throughout the year. During these our volunteers give talks and demonstrations with some of our animals, including a parrot, owl and even a snake.

We are currently able to offer pre-booked School/Groups of 10 or more the following services.

  • Discounted admission fees

  • Optional guided tours

  • Animal encounters

  • Education pack.
