Cardiff Bay Pierhead
Cardiff Bay Pierhead
The Pierhead is a unique visitor, events and conference venue for the people of Wales at the Welsh Assembly; a space to express opinions and give voice to issues that matter to you as individuals, communities or organisations. Visitors can enjoy visual displays that document the shifting landscape in Cardiff Bay over the past century, through which Pierhead has remained a constant feature.
The Pierhead helped Wales forge its identity 'through water and fire' in the late nineteenth century. Today its aim is to inform, involve and inspire a new generation to forge a Wales for the future.
It is a venue for discussion and debate, designed to inform, involve, and inspire you. As well as featuring displays and interactive exhibitions, it can host events and conferences. If your organisation is planning an event sponsored by an Assembly Member, our Events team will be happy to help you find the best space on the Assembly estate to suit your requirements.
A historic Grade One listed building under Wales's very own Big Ben, the Pierhead was once the focal point of commerce in Wales. This majestic building has stood proud over 113 years of Cardiff Bay's unique and varied history. As a space to reflect our culture and a key venue for live discussion and debate, the Pierhead will continue to play a central role in shaping Wales.
With exhibitions, interactive displays and special events highlighting issues that matter in Wales, there's always something to inform, involve and inspire at the Pierhead.
