Robert Gordon University Museum

Robert Gordon University Museum

University collection: art, design, architecture, pharmacy, engineering collections

The University holds an extensive collection of artistic and historical artefacts. These include paintings, models, teaching equipment, student drawings and photographs that will allow staff, students and visitors to explore Robert Gordon University’s history.

We care for approximately 1,800 artworks, the majority relating to Gray’s School of Art, architectural drawings, antiquarian books, photographs, oral history recordings and artefacts relating to pharmacy, engineering, and history of the university.

Regular temporary exhibitions are held in the Library Gallery and Gallery 2 (in the Faculty of Health and Social Care) at Garthdee. Many artworks are on display on both the Garthdee and Schoolhill campuses.
