Amnerfield Railway

An unusual attraction situated at Amners Farm is the miniature railway, known as the Amnerfield Miniature Railway. Amnerfield railway opened to the public in May of 1999. Since then, the railway has had many refinements and additions. Operated by an enthusiastic group of members who lovingly look after their engines and maintain the railway site, Amnerfield Railway attracts children and adults alike. 

The track which is approximately 3/4 of a mile long, runs through part of the farm's pasture and woodland, providing a picturesque view of the farm.

Open to the public on our two Lambing Weekends and one Sunday a month during the spring and summer, the railway makes an excellent day out for the family and can also be hired for birthday parties.
