Belchamps Scout Centre

Belchamps Scout Activity Centre offers 30 acres of fantastic camping fields set in beautiful Essex countryside. With a single entrance into the site, which is monitored by CCTV, it’s safe and secure. We also have five high quality indoor accommodations and a large range of activities for young people of all ages. Whether you are looking for a full residential experience or just a day visit, all of our staff will ensure that your event is safe, excellent value for money and full of fun.

Belchamps holds Adventuremark, the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge and a Food Hygiene Rating of 5. We currently have 15 schools that re-book with us year after year which stands as a testimony to our hard work. We have a dedicated full time paid team of staff; as well as a small and friendly team of volunteer workers and work experience placements.

All staff here are devoted in looking after you from the moment you enquire to when you say goodbye. Everyone at Belchamps is flexible and accommodating and we want every young person to go away having experienced a great adventure.
