The Nature Centre is gradually changing its focus from a collection of various animals to housing endangered species and focusing on animal conservation and captive breeding programmes. This will give people a chance to see an increasing amount of rare and exotic species in Birmingham.

Activities for Schools
The Centre provides an ideal opportunity to study many subjects including science, literacy, numeracy and citizenship skills along with offering stimulation for looking at geography, history, art and of course environmental projects. Schools activities are booked through our Ranger Service.
