Education

The Education Programme offers a range of workshops which are linked to the National Curriculum mainly around the science and history topics. The modular programme allows a mix and match approach so that the day can be structured to suit each School's requirements.

Funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund in 2009 we were able to increase the range of activities available to schools. We  cover KS1 & KS2 modules including Life cycles; Habitats; Victorian Games; and Tudor Medicine etc.

Thanks to the Rowlands Trust, Castle Bromwich Parish Council, GNC Trust & The Lillie Johnson Charitable Trust and others we can now provide facilities for School visits throughout the year We have guides trained to work with children and resource packs for most age groups. We can accommodate about 40 children under cover should the weather prove unsuitable for outdoor activities.

The  generosity of  a number of other charities have enabled us to continue this programme  with our own Education Officer.
