Country Experiences

We are a small independent provider based in the Lake district in Cumbria who specialize in providing: Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions, John Muir Awards (conservation), and accreditation with National Governing body awards (BCU, MLTB, RYA, Archery GB).

We provide our services through a flexible approach. Being able to tailor where we met client groups reducing the amount of unnecessary travel and logistical support they need. Allowing more time for a tailored activity session thereby allowing young people to learn through participation and experience.

All our activities are tailored to the needs of the group and can cover various curriculum elements:

Environmental topics, outdoor exploration, leadership, team building and informal education (forest schools, learning outside the classroom etc).
