CSI Experience

Based on the hit TV series, CSI: The Experience offers students and teachers alike the opportunity to partake in a hands-on, lab-based criminal case analysis. The experience is both entertaining and educational and introduces students to forensic science, which is made up of many different areas of expertise including physics, biology and chemistry. 

The attraction brings to life, fundamental scientific principles, numerous scientific disciplines and the most advanced technology and techniques used today by crime scene investigators and forensic scientists.

Students will be immersed in activities with real equipment, multimedia presentations and hi-tech touch-screen computers. They will learn about the following forensic techniques and routines:

• Fingerprint analysis
• Blood-spatter analysis
• Toxicology
• Autopsies
• Digital evidence
• Ballistics
• Forensic botany
• Forensic entomology
• DNA analysis

Students are encouraged to work through the experience at their own pace (most people take between 45mins – 1 hour to finish their case).
