Snowdonia

FSC Rhyd-y-creuau provides high quality residential outdoor learning and fieldwork for primary schools, secondary schools and university groups. We also have a range of courses and holidays for adults and families. Your visit to the Centre you can include exploring the diverse habitats and environments of Snowdonia National Park; from glaciated valleys, rivers and wooded hillsides to dramatic coasts and sand dune ecosystems. The centre itself is a Georgian house set in two hectares of wooded grounds with Eco-Centre status, allowing you to experience a sustainable lifestyle.

Rhyd-y-creuau offers a wide range of courses for the young to the young at heart. These incorporate a diversity of local sites from Snowdon, Morfa Harlech and Cwm Idwal NNR to Betws-y-Coed. We run courses for Key Stage 2 groups and university students. Our AS and A-Level courses are very popular. All are tailored to meet the individual needs and specifications of the trip, whether it is Geography or Biology.
