Halesowen Leisure Centre

Halesowen Leisure Centre has many facilities comprising of pools, sports halls, fitness suite, squash courts & rooms, the centre caters for sports, fitness and recreation activities. Play Squash, Racketball, Badminton, Indoor 5-a-side Football, Netball and Basketball. Our facilities also allow us to cater for meetings, birthday parties & functions.

Swimming

A range of Swimming Lessons takes place during term-time in the safe environment of the 25 metre teaching pool.

All instructors are fully qualified, experienced swimming teachers, who constantly encourage and help in the water to reassure all children and swimmers.

Swimmers can learn life saving skills with a nationally recognised Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) training course at Halesowen Leisure Centre.

Participants will receive a course manual and special tuition and will be expected to take an exam at the end. Those who complete the course successfully will obtain an official lifeguard qualification and certificate.

Fitness Suite

Develop total body strength using traditional bodyweight exercises and the latest functional training accessories like suspension trainers, kettle bells, battling ropes, dip bars and much more. You will feel instant improvement, in 6 sessions you will lose inches by toning your body. This type of exercise is suitable for just about anybody young, old, any size any shape, able or less able.

Junior Memberships are also available and can be used at any of our Leisure Centres.

Participants must be over 16 and will be expected to take a pre-arranged swimming test beforehand
