Set in part of a 600 acre working farm, which provides a varied selection of animals to see including llamas, goats, peacocks and red deer. Kids will also enjoy the adventure playground and the go kart track!
Educational Visits
We welcome pre-booked schools, pre-schools, scouting and guiding organisations, special needs groups, holiday clubs and more. Prices are generally £5 per child, inclusive of the guided activities with us and animal feed. Once you have finished your activities, your group is free to stay in the park for the rest of the day if you wish, always under the supervision of the adults in your group.
General Farm Tour
A fun and informative tour of the farm park and our animals. Animal feed included for children to experience hand feeding (bottle feeding of lambs seasonal) and touching of animals. Brief discussion on animal classification and physical features, growth and babies, animal senses, habitats and predator V prey, targeted to the age of the group. More in depth focus can be given to one of these areas or we can link with with other relevant topic work.
Sensory Experience Tour
Using our different senses, enjoy an introduction to some of the items found around the farm, such as an antler set, a range of feathers, sheep wool and more. Feel the pony’s breath and mane, hear the cockerel crow, smell the fresh hay and see the peacock’s glorious colours. Feed the animals and learn more about about them as we go.
