National Sea Life Centre

National Sea Life Centre

Escape city life and step into tropical paradise of an aquarium in the heart of the buzzing city of Birmingham. At the National SEA LIFE centre you can take an amazing marine voyage beneath the waves and experience so much more!

Our new attraction, Sea Stars, opened this year. This shows off a colourful array of starfish from across the globe. Visitors can peer inside pods shaped like goldfish bowls for up-close views of incredible creatures that can measure up to a metre wide. For a moment it really feels like you are in their underwater world.

Also visit our new Penguin exhibit! You’ll be able to come face to face with a colony of Gentoo Penguins and adventure into the rarely seen Antarctic landscape. Watch them swim and play, but remember with indoor temperatures of 8 degrees Celsius you’ll need to wrap up warm to enjoy this exhibit!

Plus:

The epic Jellyfish Discovery tanks and all day Rock pool Experience: Hold a crab and touch a starfish!

Visit the 4D Cinema with films that you can feel and even smell.
Walkthrough our 1million ltr underwater tunnel full of sharks and tropical fish!
