Perth Museum and Art Gallery

Perth Museum and Art Gallery

With more than half a million local, national and international objects, we have a Recognised Collection of National Significance to Scotland divided into Social History, Natural History and Art.

Founded in 1784 the Antiquarian Society of Perth soon became the Literary and Antiquarian Society of Perth and was joined in 1932 by the Perthshire Natural History Museum to become what is today, Perth Museum and Art Gallery.

As collectors of Perth and Kinross life Perth Museum and Art Gallery seek to reflect the needs of our audience and provide inspiration and experience through the use of these collections.
